VP BSA Manager

Oversee and manage various elements of the company’s BSA/AML and sanctions program. The incumbent will be a core member of the FCRM management team and will play a key role in the identification and mitigation of emerging BSA/AML and Sanctions risks.



  1. Lead the bank’s BSA/AML advisory function and associated team.
  2. Maintain familiarity with the Bank’s various business areas and product lines and proactively assess any emerging AML compliance risks presented by current or proposed changes in the law or industry or supervisory guidance.
  3. Consult with internal clients on a variety of business strategies, including changes to existing products, new products, services or operational practices and advise on BSA/AML/OFAC compliance risks associated with such strategies.
  4. Facilitate education with respect to changes in the legal or regulatory environment.
  5. Develop, update and maintain BSA/AML/OFAC policies, recommending, managing, and communicating updates as needed.
  6. Identify and mitigate emerging BSA/AML and sanctions risks. Update the BSA/AML and Sanctions risk assessment to reflect significant changes.
  7. Manage and review requests from other financial institutions for certifications about the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC compliance. Prepare responses and act as the Bank’s representative on certification issues.
  8. Develop close working relationships with other risk and compliance officers, and business leaders throughout the bank.
  9. Lead projects and perform other related duties as assigned.



  • An undergraduate degree in a Business-related field
  • A minimum of 15 years related experience in the banking industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in providing compliance advisory support, oversight and guidance to lines of business.


Other Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of regulation and guidance including Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, etc.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment

Position may require travel up to 20 percent
