The Bancorp’s Internship program is designed to provide students with a meaningful and challenging hands-on learning experience as well as an inside look into a career in the financial services industry. Interns are immersed into our culture and will work on actual projects within their business line or control function that will expand their knowledge and complement their education with real-world job experience. The commercial real estate intern position will develop knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the lending process. The candidate will provide research, analysis and administrative support while also participating in the execution of daily operational tasks to learn and understand the workflow and processes of critical functions.
Interact, meet and work with assigned Account Executive(s) existing customers with a focus on generating new business and increasing customer portfolio. As an entry level sales position, partner with assigned Account Executive(s) on an array of client activities including onsite and offsite new customer sales meetings, to create and grow an individual customer base.
Senior developer for the data warehouse team. Designs, develops, tests, and maintains applications and processes to parse, extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources to the data warehouse.
Process and prepare tag and title documents.
Analyzes third party relationships for risk and creates, modifies, and/or reviews third party contracts, non-disclosure agreement and third-party monitoring programs. Monitors and evaluates the line of business third party risk management and oversight practices and serves as a third-party risk management liaison to the lines of business through ongoing support of Bank’s Enterprise Risk program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analyzing, monitoring, and managing on-going, performance scorecards and social media; documenting the risk profile of the bank’s third-party relationships, inclusive of business continuity/disaster recovery and bank secrecy act (BSA)/anti-money laundering (AML) regulations; inventory management; and issue management.
Work through daily reporting to identify cardholder activity that violates the banks procedures specific to suspicious activity monitoring. Flag accounts with suspicious behavior and alert the FCRM team of incidents in accordance with the banks procedures. Report department activities to the VP, FTS Fraud Manager on a regular basis.

This intern will develop knowledge and understanding of the Banking and Fintech Industries. The candidate will use public filings, S&P Capital IQ and other resources to analyze and support various elements of the bank’s multi-year strategy. Participate in the execution of daily operational tasks to learn and understand the workflow and processes of critical business and banking functions.
Perform regulatory testing to ensure products and processes for applicable clients are following applicable laws and regulations.

Originate business for the bank suitable for loan generation of Small Business Administration 7a, Express, 504 and USDA loans. Gather applications, perform financial analysis of required cash flow, and present the package within credit policy requirements. Directly interact with and manage client relationships.
Administrative Support for the Real Estate Bridge Lending Team.
Accountable for deploying and troubleshooting hardware and software, including desktop, telephony, virtual environments, mobile device management, network, video conferencing, print/scan, and other technologies. Serve as subject matter expert for several technologies in the end user compute space. Follow processes to engage other IT teams (e.g. Network, System Administration, Cybersecurity) to deliver holistic services to end-users, ensuring a complete experience that exceeds expectations. Participate in small teams for project initiatives and other operational activities.

Performs loan underwriting and due diligence necessary for obtaining a credit decision on commercial loans for the purpose of M&A, debt consolidation, and succession planning within the independent wealth management industry.
Responsible for managing a team of BI professionals and helping define the future of BI analytics and reporting for the company. Serves as a point of escalation for reporting requests and issues. Builds and maintains a collaborative partnership with business stakeholders and Information Technology to improve the quality and value of our BI reporting platform. Create meaningful visualizations and dashboards to support all business lines of the company and consult with senior leadership on business intelligence direction and priorities.
Accounting or finance internship to support the commercial lending team which consists of small business lending and fleet leasing by performing a variety of activities to grow the loan portfolio. Our internship program provides students the opportunity to expand upon their academic foundation, technical skills, knowledge of the industry and their familiarity with a corporate environment which can lead to a full-time employment opportunity within Bancorp’s Commercial Lending team. This internship will present opportunities for the practical application of skills learned in corporate finance and accounting coursework.
