Fleet Leasing Sales Clerk

Directly responsible for supporting assigned Account Executive(s) in attracting new clients, maintaining existing clients, administrative tasks, and increasing sales. Candidate will ideally possess a knowledge of the automotive industry.  Candidate should have excellent computer and typing skills, superb communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal direction.


Essential Functions

  1. Contacts customer, schedules and or facilitates the delivery and meet established delivery schedule. Discusses and demonstrates vehicle features as needed to ensure customer is satisfied with leased vehicle(s) before leaving customer premises.
  2. Generates business from existing clients during each interaction. Upsells and questions clients about potential to expand leasing to the entire fleet, additional business opportunities, and other sales-related activities.  Markets leasing division services as needed during discussions. 
  3. Follows up with customers including providing vehicle status updates, upcoming lease expirations, etc. to ensure customer satisfaction with existing products and services. Reaches out and contacts existing customers on a regular basis or at the direction of the Account Executive.
  4. Updates Commercial Fleet Credit Lines 2 months prior to maturity.
  5. Develops a close working relationship with the assigned Account Executive(s). Strengthens AE relationships through client support activities, as well as discussion of client research, client follow up debriefs.  Forwards any sales leads from existing customer accounts to Account Executive(s).
  6. Maintains current on product specifications as needed to answer customer questions. Develops marketing, customer service and sales skills through client interactions.
  7. Enrolls in PAA Tag and title certification classes. Applies for PA Notary.
  8. Generates and processes Lease Wave asset and lease Uploads, following existing procedures.
  9. Prepares tax, tag, and title documents; and verify costs for the Lease Finance Department.
  10. Processes the incoming & outgoing Manufacturer’s Statement of Origins (MSO) & titles for group by daily deadlines.
  11. Processes all new and renewal registrations in the state in which they will be titled. Updates and maintains the system which verifies and tracks out-of-state titles.
  12. Submits all legal transfer work accurately to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  13. Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles. Provides a current list of outstanding titles by monthly deadline.
  14. Performs other duties assigned.


Education/Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or an equivalent certification.
  • Two years’ in clerical and/or accounting support role.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents within the last 3 years.
  • PAA Certification required or must be obtained within 3 months of starting the role.
  • PA Notary required or must be obtained within 3 months of starting the role.


Preferred Requirements

  • One-year automotive titling experience .
  • Intermediate verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment.
  • Intermediate in Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
  • Detail oriented with strong follow up and follow through skills.
  • May be required to travel to and from Bancorp and customer sites.
  • May be required to travel for trade shows out of town.

Physical Requirements

  • Indoor/Outdoor, Carry/Lift weight, Stoop/Kneel/Crouch/Crawl, Climb.
  • Must be able to occasionally prepare a vehicle for delivery. Operate vacuum, clean windows, and wash a vehicle.
