Software Developer I

Actively participate in the software development lifecycle to build, implement, document, and maintain enterprise applications as well as provide primary 1^st level support.

Essential Functions

1. Provides first level product support to resolve issue reported to the IT Service Desk.
2. Builds, implements, documents and supports enterprise application software primarily using Microsoft.NET.
3. Works closely with our project management and business analytics groups to understand and refine business requirements.
4. Maintains and enhances existing systems to meet business needs.
5. Debugs, unit tests, supports, and documents processes and procedures.
6. Utilizes monitoring and error reporting services to minimize downtime events.
7. Shares ownership for development processes and participate in a periodic on-call rotation.
8. Delivers solutions which meet or exceed criteria required by federal regulation, including PCI standards.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Associate or higher degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment.
• Good communication skills.
• A background in Microsoft .NET, C# and Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL.
• Ability to work in any of the following: ASP.NET/MVC/Web API, Angular V2 or later, typescript, javascript/javascript frameworks, HTML, XML, JSON, XSLT, GIT, NuGet, Subversion, ProGet, BitBucket, Team City.
