Overview

The Vice President RPA Service Delivery will serve in a technical leadership role, develop software robots and administer the RPA platform. The leader will work cross-functionally with business partners to design, develop, implement, enhance and maintain software robots which work alongside humans to enhance business process efficiency. The Lead RPA Administrator will also serve in an application administration role for the on-premises RPA platform ensuring the system remains current with respect to patches and upgrades, scheduling needs are addressed and change within the RPA ecosystem is well-managed.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  1. Oversees the design and implementation of RPA solutions using the Bank’s selected RPA platform, including both managing a team of developers and help with complex process improvement projects.
  2. Guide team to make realistic and achievable delivery commitments.
  3. Gather customer requirements and advise on product features and strategic direction • Present and demonstrate the solution to external groups and customers as necessary.
  4. Gathers feedback, drives RPA adoption and Identifies opportunities where process improvement automation can drive benefits and efficiencies for the business.
  5. Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
  6. Translates high-level, complex business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and manages changes to such requirements
  7. Analyzes existing business processes to assess feasibility and to redesign those processes for an RPA supported solution.
  8. Ensures reporting metrics are in place to measure the performance of RPA solutions.
  9. Supports RPA Solutions and the quality of service and performance.
  10. Designs and maintains high performing service support functions that ensure RPA solutions are performing and delivered within expected service levels.
  11. Monitors, supports and controls service delivery ensuring the procedures put in place are implemented.
  12. Builds relationships and works closely with Group Operation stakeholders to be positioned to identify future opportunities for process improvement and automation solutions – and to proactively identify sources of service dissatisfaction.
  13. Works closely with IT & Risk forums to ensure external stakeholders are aware of what’s happening with our automation strategy and ensures are aligned to overall group strategy.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (Mathematical/ Statistical).
  • Seven years RPA team leading role experience within technical work streams or small IT / RPA / data analytics solutions delivery teams.

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Analysis and design of business processes experience.
  • Experience presenting solutions to senior management.
  • Working knowledge of Agile tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of how Chatbot technology works.
  • Knowledge of other automation solutions that can integrate with RPA and Chatbot.
  • Experienced in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of automation.
  • Content/Technical Knowledge 
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent SQL, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Word skills.
  • Experience in RPA and Data Analytics.
  • Proven track record of solid, consistent project delivery around RPA (UiPath preferred).
  • Ability to understand and re-engineer business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce easily understood documentation. The successful candidate must be able to explain technical detail to non-technical colleagues and to interact at senior levels within the organization.
