Lot Attendant

Responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the parking lot. Perform pre-delivery inspection, listing work performed and detailing any defect. Transfer vehicles to and from designated locations.

Essential Functions

1. Greets customers and provide courteous and timely customer service.
2. Performs light duty vehicle maintenance and auto detailing, e.g., PM Service, tire repair or replacement, wiper blades, bulbs, etc., per maintenance agreement.
3. Drives vehicles to and from dealerships for servicing and/or pick up, deliver vehicles to customer or company locations.
4. Assists in daily operations, including: new/used vehicle receiving, delivery procedures and inventory control.
5. Organizes equipment and maintain a safe working environment with vehicle bays and parking lot.
6. Follows EPA, OSHA and other government standards.
7. Maintains hazardous disposal material records, including: waste oil, used tires, scrap metal and batteries.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• One-year automotive service industry experience.

Preferred Requirements

• GED
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on customer relations.
• A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Schedule must be flexible with ability to travel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents within the last 3 years.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in open environment under extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100lbs.
