Overview

The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of company and client marketing goals, including the coordination and tracking of external marketing, strategic initiatives and project workflow between the Marketing team and Commercial Lending, Institutional Banking, Fintech Solutions and Real Estate Bridge Lending lines of business.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  1. Works closely with the Director of Marketing and the creative team, to coordinate the development of marketing deliverables on behalf of the assigned business units.
  2. Coordinates all aspects of projects assigned, from kick off to delivery of assets, including adhering to project schedules that encompass creative execution, internal, business line, Compliance/Legal and third party approvals.
  3. Tracks progress, negotiates deadlines and updates schedules within the marketing team during project/program execution.
  4. Facilitates communication between the creative team and the business lines, ensuring each team member has the information to successfully execute next steps.
  5. Supports marketing initiatives through the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Management (formerly Pardot) platform, including email campaign development, list building, segmentation and metrics.
  6. Partners with the Conference and Event team in the development of marketing collateral required for business line conferences and events.
  7. Coordinates job ticket opening/closings through Cherwell project management system.
  8. Ensures payment of project related external vendors through collaboration with the Accounts Payment department.
  9. Serves as quality checkpoint for both print and digital collateral.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Three years marketing experience within banking/financial services company or equivalent marketing firm.

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Management (formerly Pardot).
  • Excellent organizational, project management, negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of the creative workflow process from concept through production.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who is able to think creatively and solve problems.
  • Team-oriented collaborator that is open mind to all ideas, feedback and suggestions.
  • Strong time management capabilities.
  • Promote a culture of high-quality and continuous improvement that values learning, responsibility and commitment.
  • A solid understanding of the creative workflow process within an in-house marketing environment.
