Overview

Work Arrangement: 

***After the initial training period, this is a hybrid role, working onsite in our Sioux Falls, SD office.***

 

The Product Marketing Compliance Analyst I evaluates and approves partner collateral materials to meet bank and client needs within service level agreements and in accordance with all bank guidelines, network rules, and legal and regulatory requirements. A strong candidate demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to collaborate with others, and the ability to make decisions and provide feedback in a fast-paced, energized work environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  1. Reviews a variety of incoming materials to ensure compliance with network rules and regulatory requirements.
  2. Develops strong working relationships with peers and supports the development of strong client partnerships.
  3. Participates in training and development opportunities and keeps abreast of rules and regulations. Identifies how new legislation and/or changes will impact department document reviews, processes, and procedures.
  4. Updates Relationship Managers on issues and maintains a comprehensive understanding of assigned clients and programs.
  5. Communicates network rules and regulatory requirements affecting collateral to clients via email and/or meetings.
  6. Assists in fulfilling audit and/or regulatory exam requests, as assigned. Provides documents and materials needed by auditors/examiners to ensure compliance.
  7. Provides recommendations for process, procedural and system enhancements to meet and/or exceed service level agreements and ensure quality results.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience reading, interpreting, and applying association rules/regulatory guidelines and requirements, performing quality assurance and/or due diligence in a financial services or operations environment.

Preferred Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of prepaid or bank processes and operations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player, with the ability to work effectively in a team fostered, fast paced environment.
  • Possess a strong customer service focus with meticulous attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
  • No travel is required in this position.
