The Bancorp’s Fleet Management Services team is one of the few bank-owned direct fleet lessors in the U.S., serving both commercial and government customers. We offer end-to-end solutions for procurement, upfitting, financing, fleet management, and disposal. On this team, you’ll work alongside industry experts to provide bank-direct financing and help clients optimize their fleets, manage costs and drive efficiency.

 

The Sales Support Representative role works closely with assigned Account Executives (AEs) to manage the needs of both new and existing customers so AEs can focus on generating new business

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitors Credit Maturities and reviews with AEs monthly and determine plan of action. Sets recurring calendar appointments with each AE and if needed, contacts clients to begin credit renewal process. Collects financials, tax returns, and other credit matrix documents to update credit file. Updates Spark package, uploads documents, and requests AE to review prior to submission.
  • Monitors Lease Maturities and reviews with AEs monthly to establish plan of action. Sets recurring calendar appointments with each AE and determines who contacts lessees for next steps. Collaborates with customers and AE for replacement vehicles as needed. Executes lease extensions or request to move leases to OTP (month-to-month) as needed. Provides proper required reports to management each month on expected plan of action.
  • Works with AEs and prospective clients to submit new credit packages. Includes using DocuSign and SPARK, and following the internal credit matrix to determine needed financial documentation.
  • Prepares lease deals for funding for assigned AEs and requests insurance documents from agents to verify correct information. Reviews dealer & vendor documents for completeness and accuracy. Compiles all deal documents and submits packages to Relationship Support Representatives (RSRs). Follows up with RSR team on payments and/or documentation as needed.
  • Establishes routines for new vehicle tag & title tracking. Confirms new delivery title & reg if in-house, assists as needed. Follows up with dealer to capture tag (or temporary tag) number and forwards to Tag & Title, or upload to Odessa5. Registration renewal assistance as needed. Includes proactively notifying the customer of upcoming renewals and the necessary information needed (insurance, inspection, miles) for Tag & Title to complete needed renewal(s).
  • Point of contact with lessee for the following items as needed – includes responding to phone calls and emails. Responds to new vehicle delivery and off-lease drop-off questions or issues. Responds to Tag & Title questions (including temporary tags). Assists with Inspection questions for registration renewals. Notifies Asset Team of upcoming lease returns and provides dealer contact info to asset team for transportation to auction. Provides additional reporting as requested by the customer or AE monthly. Works with customers and AE on Releases of units from customer to new customer as needed to include up to all aspects of the transaction (Credit, Setup, Quoting, Execution).
  • Internal point of contact between assigned sales team and the other operations departments to resolve customer-service issues.
  • Reviews Unapplied and Lease-in-Process reports with assigned AEs. Follows-up with AE, Vendors and RSRs to clear stale items.
  • Assists in training new Sales Support Representatives (SSRs) and Sales AEs when they join the team.
  • Other customer-service items as needed.
  • Coordinates vehicle upfits and be the point of contact for vendors and customers. Validates vendor invoices for pricing, and completeness and accuracy.
  • This role may be responsible for ordering vehicles, reviewing new units with clients, working with dealers to locate out-of-stock units, preparing factory orders, checking factory-order status and rebate follow-up as needed.
  • This role may be responsible for Coordinating Deliveries by being the point of contact for ordering and Courtesy Delivery dealers, and customers/drivers. Need to ensure cars are delivered with valid temporary tags.
  • Possible upsell opportunities for Fuel & Maintenance, Telematics, etc. Become familiar with Element and Network Programs/Pricing. Be able to educate client on product, assist in enrolling new clients, assist in rollout of program as needed, coordinate with Asset Team to add/delete vehicles and serve as point of contact between lessee and vendor as needed.
  • May need to attend conferences and other selling events as coordinated with AE.
  • This role may be responsible for assisting with the Marketing needs of the business line by emailing clients with promotional information, order deadlines, and rebates. This role will stay in front of stale accounts and provide pre- and post-conference support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or 2-3 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong focus on customer service. Automotive industry experience a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents within the last 3 years.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player, able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Travel

  • Position required to travel to and from customer sites, tradeshows, and other sales-oriented events.
